My Samantha I just sold to a HB member has a body tag that says Made in the USA for Pleasant Company, 1986. She is definitely NOT Mattel. From what Ria (AGTeacher) has said, very few dolls made in Germany and USA had body tags. A German Body tag is pretty unusual, but a USA tag is very rare. If you want pics of the tag on her, I can send them to you or post them in this thread.
